The Institute of Science in Society (ISIS) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1999 by Mae-Wan Ho and Peter Saunders to work for social responsibility and sustainable approaches in science. Friends of the Earth Canada

Friends of the Earth (FOE) Canada is a charitable, non-profit environmental organization. Our mission is to serve as a national voice for the environment, working with others to inspire the renewal of our communities and the earth, through research, education and advocacy.

 On August 1, 2000, a group of concerned citizens formed Fair Vote Canada (FVC) with the aim of building a nationwide campaign for voting system reform.
