Annual
General Meeting and Convention for the Green Party of
Sasktchewan 2008 is
set for Saturday, April 5, Humboldt, at the Uniplex.
10:00 am. Details to come.
Seedy
Saturday Saskatoon’s
favourite community seed exchange and spring eco-fair is
back. Come
celebrate CHEP’s tenth annual Seedy Saturday March
8, 2008 from 12 noon until 4:30 p.m. at Princess Alexandra
School.
Come swap seeds, enjoy a hearty lunch, browse the book tables,
purchase heritage and native seeds, and learn more about local
community, youth, environmental and farming organizations.
Admission and lunch
are each $2 or pay what you can. Free childcare is available
on site and children’s activities
will take place throughout the afternoon.

Friggstad is in the process of taking over the role of webmaster

web site. Gerald Regnitter, the outgoing webmaster, thanks
Kirk for taking on this responsibility. Kirk brings a lot
of experience and technical competence to this service role.

Stewardship Council certification achieved by Mistik operations. Click

regard is:

BE IT RESOLVED that the Green Party of Saskatchewan supports
a process that
will result in
all of Saskatchewan’s
Crown forests and forest products achieving certification by
the Forest Stewardship Council of Canada, and that all Crown
forest operation license holders be required to follow operation
procedures compliant with these certification standards in
all of their forest operations within Saskatchewan.
